Traveller's Trophy

Points are given as a proportion of 100 per race. The winner always gets 100 but the points for the rest are based on the number of entries i.e. if there are 5 entries then the 3rd boat will get 3 fifths of 100 = 60, whereas if there are 20 entries the 3rd placed boat gets 18 twentieths of 100 = 90. So you are rewarded for doing well in a big fleet. If a number of boats do not finish a race, as per South Cerney, they get 1 fraction of the entries (1/13th at South Cerney) to encourage getting a finish at least!
