Hi there,
From what I can tell, Sail number 384 was measured by the RYA on 25/7/59. The first certificate was issued on 4/8/67. It was built by Fairey Marine and looks as though it was finished by D C Galloway. At some point (probably the last time it was registered with the RYA) it was called "Steele away T". The hull number which should be etched into the hog (probably between the back of the centreboard case and the transom) is 855.

Hope this helps. We used to own 607 which was also built in 1959 - it must have been a busy year! Perhaps they saved them all up to be measured at the same time !!

Does it still have the stern deck or has it been removed?

Cheers
Jean
