Hello Al

As you know it is a Young built boat and it was first registered in June 1985.

I can tell you that it spent some time at Winsford Flash, and was entered in the Nationals by Scott Dominey in 1990 and 1991. At this time it was called "John West" - presumably a Tuna reference.
Later on it was at Scaling Dam and was in the hands of Jeff King. It had been renamed by this time and was called "Silent but Deadly" which I won't comment on. Jeff entered the Nationals in 1999 and 2000.

All you need to do now is find yourself a crew and you'll be able to get her going again.

Hi Alan

I am sure Graham would be happy to update you further. He has done quite a few Young repairs over recent years and would give you the latest info.

Best wishes
Andy

Thanks Andy
I recently brought 7179 from Graham. I know it was a Scottish boat and a previous owner was called Crawford. I'm interested in whether she had any previous form. At one time I was an out of county member of Perth S. C. and have sailed borrowed boats when on holiday. This included Albacores and know some of the Scottish Albacore Sailors. I always like to have a knowledge of the back ground of the boats I own. Thank you for your help.
