Winsford Flash Sailing Club is situated on Winsford Flash just south of Winsford, which is just about as close as you can get to the centre of Cheshire.
The Flash itself is a 90-acre lake created by the River Weaver.
The Club has ample car and dinghy parking space. Launching is by concrete slipways, which, combined with the fixed jetties, provide one of the most civilized dinghy launching facilities in the North West. However, for those who like getting their feet wet, there is a gravel launching 'beach'.
The Clubhouse is a modern, two-storey, centrally-heated building with spacious clubroom, bar/lounge area, changing rooms with showers and a well-equipped galley.
