I work overseas and as the local sailing club sails Wayfarers(agh!),I'm considering shipping an Albacore from the UK. I need to know the mast length in order to get a quote for shipping. Could someone let me know how long a mast is. Thankyou

There is no measurement for the mast length but I have just measured mine and it is about 22ft 6in or 6.86m

The only difference between max and min on a mast is the hight og the mast step. If you go to RYA and check out the distance to the top black band and add the position of the sheerline the all you need to do is add all the bits but Trevors (admin) mast will be within 4" of a floor stepped mast. So if you buy any alb it is going to be a good ball park
