Mark,
My intention is to be there but I am looking for a good charter rather than losing Ptarmigan for such a long time

Hi everyone,

I would also like a berth in any container going to the Internationals, so put my name down on the list if you have started one Norman.

But I have also started to find out the possibility of getting a container started up here in Shetland, if there is enough folk up North looking for adventure.

I will get costings etc from a carrier up here, but I am looking to get this shipped out of Glasgow over to Toronto.

Cheers
Steven

Mark/ Norman,

I have a pretty comprehensive list of contacts from my previous job which involved alot of shipping of bigger boats, rigs, containers, box trailers etc. If you would like me to put you in touch with them or speak direct on your behalf give me a shout.

Best regards,

Hugh.

Hi Folks,

For those of you that are sitting on the fence or are unconvinced that this might be a worthwhile event, I promise you that you'll not regret coming to the 2011 Internationals.

It's time to make preparations for container shipping NOW.

Hi Henry,
I had preferred to charter but in the absence of any feedback from your committee I have decided to get to work and complete the rebuild of 7191, so Norman/Mark/Steven whoever is taking names, count me in.

OKay here's the latest...

Rob Lyne @ Allen Brothers has offerd to organise a container & the necessary paperwork, all we have to do is fill it.
The 45ft high cube would be the fovourite as this may lead to a cost saving (budget is £750), for this we only need 10 boats.

81** Rob Lyne, Pete Grey
8130 John Herbert, Mark Calvert
6403 Norman Halstead, Crew
7191 Crawford Reid, Crew
8076 Will Gulliver, Steve Graham
81** Nev Herbert, Mark Fowler
8128 Jerry Rook, Crew
Storm Steve Brown, Frank Guthtie.

These 8 boats will be going & so there is in effect only 2 spaces available....
