Hello all.
Please find attached the NOR for the Southerns at South Cerney. Please click on the link then scroll down to the Albacore section.

We now need to know how many to cater for regarding camping and campervan spaces as well as numbers for Pam's superb three course meal on the Saturday evening. Please inform us of any dietry requirements as soon as possible.
If anyone would like to arrive on the Friday - late afternoon or evening - please let us know so that we can be there to let you in, open the bar, do a fish and chip run etc.
If there are any queries, please get in touch on the forum, by text, phone or email. Our details are on the foot of the NOR.

We'll be there Saturday night Dave, camping and partaking of the superb three course please.

We may drop the boat(s) off on Wednesday or Friday night,will give you / Hannah a shout if we are.

Alberholic with be there with Phil and Tom. Arriving Saturday morning. Looking forward to the Saturday night feast.

Ian and I will be there, arriving on Saturday morning. Please reserve a camping pitch and book four for dinner on Saturday evening. I believe there may be at least a couple of boats coming from Maidenhead.

Glad we got the horrible weather out of the way last weekend - all ready for wall 2 wall sunshine starting on Friday afternoon!

Hi All sorry wont be able to make it boat just wont be ready in time, Limoncello will be ready for Broadwater though just hope no more cold so varnish dries, have a great weekend

We're planning on dropping the boat off Friday night if we can get it packed up one night this week without resorting to flippers and snorkel masks. Currently it's sitting on an increasingly small and forlorn island. Bah.

What time will SC be open Friday night?

Hi Hazel
Hannah and I will be at the club from mid to late Friday afternoon. I'm picking up John's boat and going to SC before teatime so the club will be open as will the bar. We can also organise a fish and chip run for those who need it.
It looks like campervans won't be able to use the grass but will be welcome to use the far end of the car park. Tents should be fine if a little damp underneath.
Looking forward to seeing everyone for an excellent weekend of sailng.

Avatar will be there with Kay back in the crew seat - looking forward to usual South Cerney hospitality, food and beer!

Quick note to thank Dave,Hannah and the volunteers at South Cerney this weekend, For our first ever Albacore open we had a great time, thanks to everyone concerned! Made to feel very welcome by the fleet and apart from the snoring from one tent it hasn't put us off for the next event! See you all in Lyme!

Congratulations to Nev & Mark for showing us how to do it & to the club for laying on such a friendly meeting with great food.
I have used up all my Lyme tacking quota for the year at one meeting and have overdrawn on the capsizing account

Well done to Dave & Hannah and the South Cerney team for an excellent event. Shame Norman didn't catch those capsizes for posterity the waves must have been steeper than Lyme Bay Jerry!

A big thank you to all that came to South Cerney and made the event what it was. The only upside of Norman's shoulder injury is that he was able to take my camera to produce such excellent photos.
