After Elton Sailing Club were compelled to cancel their open due to lack of water ,West Kirby kindly agreed to help by including it in their Coastal open meeting. The Elton results were taken from Saturdays 3 race results.

 Strong to medium winds greeted the competitors on Saturday with a mild sea state, results are attached below but in 3^rd  place were Thomas and Ruth from West Kirby in 8182, 2^nd were Mike and Mark in 5897 also from the home club, and first were Judy and Paul from Scaling Dam sailing their new Ovington 8228. Generous prizes were presented by Elton’s Nick Read, ably assisted by a not quite dressed ( minus jeans) Mike Hartley, they included vouchers from Shark Attack Water sports as well as wine and Burgees.

 Day 2 conditions were medium winds and a lovely swell with some good waves. Overall results included all six races, Paul and Judy were first again with six bullets with Mike and Mark 2^nd  with six second places,  and Andrew Bell and Crew 3^rd in albacore 8157.Thanks to both West Kirby and Elton for a well run first class event.
