So how did 8211 get away with that logo on the sail?

Class rule C.4.1 - "Advertising on the boat chosen by the person in charge is prohibited".

ERS definition of boat includes the sails. (ERS C.6.1)

Also that jib looks a bit iffy. (See ERS G.4.1 for clew measurement point).
