I am delighted to be able to confirm that the Inlands will be held at South Cerney on 2nd & 3rd May 2015.

There will be free camping and, on the Saturday evening, a slap-up meal (at a small cost) provided by our own gourmet chef, Pam.

Also, (TBC) to bring an element of competition indoors, we have a club member with a spectacular Scalextric setup. So, if you have your own car, why not bring it along?

The Inlands are approaching and the online entry form, NOR and SIs will be available soon on the South Cerney website.

In the meantime, we would like to start getting an indication of numbers to help with catering, camping etc.

Camping (free of charge) will be available from the Friday - 1st May.
I will be there from 4.30pm to meet and greet as well as open the bar so that we can wash down our fish and chips in a civilised manner.

On the Saturday evening, Pam will providing her usual high standard of culinary excellence at a modest cost.
Following the meal, we have an impressive Scalextric set-up to get to grips with. I've had a go with this and it is not to be missed!

Racing starts at 13.00 on the Saturday with three races back to back.

Sunday is the same but starting at 10.00

Most likely Travelling each day rather than camping.

There should be a few other boats from Maidenhead coming too.

Any chance of dropping off my boat at SC this Sat 25th April around mid pm? and then storing it for the week?
I'm picking it up from Southampton container on Sat am so it would save a bit of towing the week later.

It came to light today, that the Saturday timings listed on the South Cerney website are incorrect.
It should read:
12.15 briefing
12.55 first sound signal
13.00 three races back to back

The timings for Sunday are correct.
Many apologies for the confusion.

If you plan to arrive on Friday, can you let me know? I can be there from 4.30pm.

According to the forecast (information correct at time of going to press) Saturday afternoon, the wind will be 20mph from the South East (launching stern first) and, on Sunday, we have winds of around 12-15mph from the South West, so it should be a cracking weekend.
Any Tewkesbury boats coming? Matt, Hazel, Peter? You know you want to!

Dave, answering for the boss we will be there in 8154! I believe the only boat from Tewkesbury due to holidays... Camping Saturday night after entertaining Judy & Paul on Friday night around the local hostelries of Tewkesbury! Could be messy....
