One of the potential strengths of our class in these recessionary times is that it is possible as you all know to buy an old boat and with a lot of skill and effort to acheive a competitive boat (the skills are beyond me though!)

We are going to have a restored boat on the stand at the Dinghy Show as well as a new Speed/Ovington.

It would be good publicity for the class to get an article in the yachting mags on restored boats - a general article not a blow-by-blow restoration tale on a particular boat.
