I looks like we could have 8-10 boats for the training and as many as 27 boats for the Open (if everyone who has said they are coming turns up) - Im told we have had as many as 40 on the same start line in the past!


Time table looks like this:


Saturday Training

09:30 arrive and rig 10:00 Introductions and coffee 10:30 1st Session



The training schedule will be tailored to suit those that turn up, but can include some or all of the following:

- boat set up & trouble shooting

- boat handling on the water

- video analysis.




The primary focus will be on those who are newer members of the class, but I understand there are a number of more experienced Albacore sailors attending who will be happy to share their knowledge and show us how it is done whilst they can tune their boats and practice with video feedback.

Lunch will be a bulk order from the chippy, please order on arrival.



Saturday Evening

The Bar will be open from 7:30pm.






Sunday Open Meeting

The NOR will shortly be on the club web site with more detail.

No specific plans in place yet, but I suggest that those who are interested meet at the club bar (from 7:30pm) and we can either send out for Curry/Chinese/Pizza etc or adjourn to a local establishment as required.
It will probably depend on numbers.
