Phil, Im sure you know it is a criminal offence for yachts to fly the Union Flag unless they are a Royal Naval vessel or the Queen is on board - hence the Red Dusters.



As for apples - my boat was re-named "Who Ate All The Apple Pies?" for the duration of the regatta - you cant get more american than Apple Pie!
