I'd like to be able to manipulate the A in Albacore so as to form the shape of the Albacore insignia. Can anyone please tell me how to do that or what programme I can do that in.

I used the logo specification from the class rules as a stating point and then used a graphics program to make the logo consistent with the font I had chosen.

You can then write the text (Without the AL) in your chosen font and then paste the AL over the top. My logo is not strictly consistent with the Alb Spec. (as it is slightly itallic), but a boat name needs to be in an itallic font so it goes faster

If you dont have a graphics package Paint.NET is a good free one. ( www.getpaint.net/ )

Thanks John, I'll have a look at that. I got a part of the way with Photo shop and then got confused!
