In Feb 2011 Y&Y magazine on pages 80/81 there's an Albacore class review of last year and look ahead to this with a great double page photo of Michael Mac at a 2010 Lyme Nationals gybe mark (also with Southern Rep John W in the background). I'll try to get a pdf scan and post on the forum - or just pop in to W H Smiths and have a look!

OOh, how did I miss that great pic of Mike Mac!

The clew of my mainsail just makes it into the pic, but the boat in the background is clubmate Phil Tindall in 8129.

Darn it I may have to put my hand in my almost sewn-up money pocket and buy a copy

I just jumped on my trusty steed and pedaled down to the town centre to pick up a copy of Y&Y. Lots of other yachty mags available but unfortunately Y&Y sold out. I can only conclude that its down to the advertising power of this web site and the number of closet Alb sailors in the town.
I will now need to borrow a well thumbed copy off a friendly RS sailor.
