Bit of a breezy day yesterday - only 26 finished from approx 100 entries. The biggest problem were the very short wavelength waves caused by the strong ebb tide running straight into the wind -it felt like 4 foot high waves on a 5 foot wavelength!
We capsized when the joint between tiller extension & tiller broke - but with only 20 minutes to go heroically struggled on to finish 9th (one worse than last year). Having no tiller extension gave me the excuse not to do any hiking. I am feeling a bit creaky in the joints this morning!

Well done Jerry, there is indeed a lot to be said for PVC tape

Think Jerry deserves at least gaffer tape! Well done to finish guess the crew had to work even harder than usual.

We were tame lake sailing and only managed half a boat full of water - usual d--k on the stick error cost us the race too!
