Hi all

Who is going to Llandudno in August? Just booked accommodation. Not sailed there before what's it like?

We are going accommodation booked.
Sailed there 3 times it has either been blowing old boots or dead light, but not much tide, so that's a good thing.

Llandudno is a pretty and largely-unspoiled Victorian sea-side resort, with the mountains of North Wales in the background.
For history nuts there is the remains of one of the largest prehistoric copper mines in the Great Orme which is the huge headland to the West. There will no doubt be the remains of one or two prehistoric Albacore sailors to be seen at the Nationals!
The club is very friendly and the venue is only a short distance from the large fleet of Albacores at West Kirby SC

Accommodation is booked and we are looking forward to returning to Llandudno. Friendly club and a lovely location so what's not to like.

I want to camp - Beth said that she wants to go luxury! Interesting debate that I will lose.
