I am looking for any information about Albacore 1544. Does she still exist and is any history available about her.
My father had her from new in about 1964/5 when she had a white boom and rotating mast and I think all bag bouyancy. He had a very succesful club career in her for several years as well as falmouth week and other events. He is in his 80's now and I said I would see if there was any information available about her.
Thanks for any help and information.

I can only tell you stuff that you probably know already in the circumstances! It was of course a Fairey hull measured on 5/6/64 and registered with the RYA on 6/11/67. I can't explain the 3 year variation in dates - but you might know this already. It's registered name is Sea View which will be the most recent name that the RYA is aware of.

Past results that I have only relate to National Champs. They certainly go back far enough, but it doesn't feature at all.

I'm afraid I can add no more - it's not a boat I recall seeing (even though we did Falmouth Regatta once or twice in the '70's)
