To all Members,

I have to advise the passing of Graham Child on Sunday the 9th February. Graham suffered a stroke two weeks earlier and sadly never recovered. I have passed on condolences from the Association and members but you may also wish to send a card or communicate personally with Val. Many of you will know Graham from his long association and support for the Albacore Class. I know that Michael McNamara will be writing a small piece on Graham for this web site and he has also offered, along with with Jerry Rook our Commodore, to represent the Class at the funeral.

The service will be held on Tuesday 25th February at 2.30pm at Portchester crematorium. There will also be a gathering afterwards at Lee on the Solent sailing club signal station.
