Hello all.
Having spoken with our VC and SS at SCSC, we have come up with a possible deal for our Inlands.
The proposed dates are Saturday and Sunday, 5th and 6th September.
I have also spoken with Michael McNamara and he has kindly agreed to put on a training day on Friday 4th September.
The only thing is, we would be sharing the lake with about 10 Flying Fifteens. Their open is that weekend and we have been asked to join them as the club is saying that we cannot interrupt the club sailing programme once it restarts.
The only other alternative would be to hold a midweek event, which we could do anytime after the restrictions are lifted.
I welcome your thoughts.

Thanks Dave the update is much appreciated. I think for many it is difficult to respond on this as I suspect that for a good number of us in the at risk age group restrictions may continue. I will support if it is deemed safe to do so but safety is, and has to be, our first priority. I am somewhat resigned to a 'dry' sailing season so will have to self administer at home for the time being!

Totally agree that it needs to be safe for all. It will always be subject to the advice given at the time but, in the meantime, let's employ some optimism and hope that the rescheduled event can go ahead.

I shall look forward to the rescheduled Inlands with interest. Hopefully we will be able to sail.
