Following a positive response to holding an Albacore Open meeting at Hamble in conjunction with the Fireflies, this even will also be the Albacore Southern Area Championships. It will be on the 11th and 12th June 2011 and will be sailed in the mid Solent in the Hillhead plateau area.

Owing to an error on my part, the date for the Southern Areas and Hamble Open is the 11th and 12th June.

Unfortunately I transposed the dates of the Warming Pan with this event. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

However the weather will of course be better that weekend and the social welcome in Hamble will still be as good, if not better as we will host a early evening drinks party.

As the Association time machine is currently out on loan for the festive season can someone please clarify whether this is an old event from 2011 or a new proposed one for 2015? Please check existing fixtures listing and advise me of any proposed dates.
