Terrific U tube footage of the America's Cup catamarans capsizing at Plymouth over the weekend in breezy conditions. We went on Saturday also hoping to see Norman Halstead but I expect he was in the VIP tents drinking bubbly.
Meanwhile just along the coast at Lyme the Phantom Nationals were held in similarly bracing conditions & half the 80-odd strong fleet decided not to race for the last 3 races. Will Gulliver finished in the top 5 I think

Who needs a VIP tent? The South Koreans fell over right outside our front window yesterday! It was great fun watching them all round the windward mark(s), bear away and frantically try to keep the bows up.
Glad you enjoyed things - there's more to come but I have to think of the Maltese Albacore fleet who will obviously be missing me so I'm afraid I'll miss the rest.
