Are we definitely on for W/C 3rd Aug at S.C.Y.C Abersoch? We've at least 4 boats and a most enthusiastic party of drinkers / sandcastlers / beach glamour coming from Tewkesbury at this stage.

There is some interest in getting accommodation booked etc. Also I've already booked and will need to cancel sharpish if I'm going to get my deposit back if there is a change of venue.

We've got some good crews looking for a sail for the week if anyone wants putting in touch nearer the time.

Definitely on 3rd to 9th Aug 2013 - more details to follow within the next week but we will need to get at least 50 boats so this is a good start.

So encourage more to come along, get your drinking arms in tune and let's hope for fair winds, good weather and a great Albersoch Internationals!

Any other clubs bringing a good size group?

Also our American/Canadian alber-brothers will need boats to charter - any offers?

Hi all,

We are coming with 4 boats from Shetland and accomodation has already been booked.
Canada has already booked a rematch at the bar, but not sure about the beach glamour, might get Angus in speedo's!!

The new boat, which is finished at Ovington, moulded for Neville & myself, will make 5 from Tewkesbury.

This boat (8192) is to be timber decked & launch January.

There will undoubtedly be more requests for boats to charter, so if you have a competitive boat and are not able to come, please notify a committee member if you would consider hiring out your boat

We intend to bring our Speed Sails Alb. No 8069 to Abersoch for the Internationals, and we are curently negotiating with a Canadian couple who wish to charter our Alb. for that week.
We should therefore be pleased to hear from anyone else who is doing this, or is thinking of doing so.
In the meantime we both wish you all a very Happy New Year.

Does anybody who has accommodation or is looking at getting some want to share costs of a house? We are a sailing couple looking at bringing out costs down for our first Albacore Worlds!

Anyone looking to house share or let a room please get in touch, must be in walking distance of club, as we both like a drink! B)
