Hi, I’m a new owner planning to attend. So I can look at accommodation is there a published timetable (i.e for measuring, registration, 1st race, etc)?

Hi Thanks for your enquiry. I am not sure of the latest info so have asked Mike Banner our Events Sec to respond to this. Nothing is published yet but I am sure that he will have an outline for the event.

Thanks for the info request and nice to hear about people already starting to make plans for the Albacore Internationals in 2021. The event at Plas Heli, Pwllheli, North Wales, is due to commence on Saturday 31st July and run until Friday 6th August. Registration is yet to be finalised however I would expect it to start at the latest on Fri 30th July and continue on Sat 31st with racing proper commencing on Sunday 1st August until Friday 6th hopefully with a closing banquet and prizegiving! I am just starting to prepare an accommodation list however there will be caravan/motorhome berths in the event centre and camping close by. There is a fair selection of B&Bs etc in the surrounding area although remember this will be holiday season! As with all things at the moment it is probably worth checking for any Covid cancellation policy/restrictions with any accommodation you book. Also worth noting some sailors are considering entering the 50th anniversary Abersoch Dinghy Week which is taking place the week preceding the Internationals.
